I had a fantastic stay at Hush Hostel Lounge. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I loved relaxing in the garden and on the roof terrace, enjoying the comfortable and chill atmosphere. The location was perfect, with easy access to the ferry terminal and great coffee shops in the neighborhood. The TV room was a bonus, especially for my early morning departure. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hostel.

Loved the friendly staff who were so helpful and made our romantic escape even more special. the shared kitchen was a great feature and allowed us to cook our own meals, saving us money for other romantic activities. the garden was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect setting for relaxing and meeting new people. It was the heart of the hotel and we spent many evenings enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
The noise from a nearby establishment really affected our romantic getaway. It went on until the early hours of the morning, making it impossible for us to get a good night's sleep.

The common areas were very good, especially the garden where you can chill out and enjoy to be outside...
When we arrived a girl from the staff (short hair one) was quite rude with us... We didn't feel welcome at the beginning, but later we met the rest of the staff and everything was fine...

I have been in Istanbul before, and I was determined not to stay in the Sultanahmet district where prices are high and taxi drivers are deceitful. I was happy to find Hush Hostel on the Asian side, very close to the ferries. The atmosphere was casual. They provided a map of the area (which ended up being quite invaluable). The hostel is clean and breakfast is good (included). The sitting area in the garden is delighful and and views from the roof are amazing.
There were times when staff members were not available. The desk staff did not offer much information up front (although they were very happy to answer any questions). If I weren't already familiar with the area, I would not have known what to do. All spoke English, but some staffers did not speak Turkish. There is only one computer in the lobby - I would recommend having a second computer available since not everybody has a Wi-Fi device of their own.

Located near the pier and in a wonderful area, this hostel offers a prime location for backpackers. the private rooms have balconies, providing a great view of the surroundings. the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. the free breakfast is continental and sufficient for a day of sightseeing. there is a garden and a terrace for relaxation. the location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms make this hostel a great choice for backpackers.
One reviewer mentioned noise issues in the mutual bathroom, which can be a potential drawback.

The neighborhood was mind-blowing, with fun cafes and a relaxed atmosphere. Close to ferry lines and metro. The private room in a different building was super, overlooking a courtyard. Access to communal areas, including a jaw-dropping garden. Highly recommended!

We had a bit of an unlucky start with a fire alarm issue during our first night, but the staff at Hush Hostel Lounge did everything they could to address it. Despite this, the majority of the staff were really friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The breakfast, served in a lovely garden area, was excellent and the coffee was top-notch. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation. I would recommend this hostel.

Friendly staff. 24 hour check-in. Large private rooms with clean shared showers/restrooms. Very close to Kadikoy ferryboat area to Europe-side and E10 bus (and other busses) to/from Sabiha airport. Simple but good breakfast.
There is no elevator, so you should be able to carry your bags up a couple flights of stairs, but the stairs are in good shape and it wasn't a problem.

The welcoming and friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere. We were able to come and go as we pleased even leaving our bags and chilling out after we'd checked out. Absolutely wonderful.
Very difficult to find anything bad to say.

I stayed at Hush Hostel Lounge in Kadikoy for a week and it was an amazing experience. The private room with ensuite shower room was spacious and had a lovely balcony with a quiet inner courtyard view. The staff were friendly and very prompt in responding to my questions. The hostel's location was perfect, being close to the Kadikoy ferry and bus station, making it easy to explore different parts of the city. The included breakfast was a great bonus and provided the fuel I needed for sightseeing. a fantastic Turkish experience!
100% Recommend this hotel.

Brilliant location on the asian side of istanbul. Although up a steep hill it reallyu is in a very good location to get to and from Sabhia Gocken airport via the itt express bus. Crossing the Bospherous from Karakoy to Kadakoy is simple and great fun. The hostel is great with free internet and wifi, and the breakfast plentiful and fun to share with other guests.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
